Justan fyi, this fixes more than just flickering. I was having a lot of issues that I never even noticed the flickering. First cart section I couldn't move to the right, no matter which direction I pushed, keyboard/joystick it would constantly take me to the left. And then usually glitch out by putting me under the map. However if you use a bomb to kill multiple civilians then it would show you the message that desynchronization will occur if you kill more civilians.
